Last week Tsahi Levent Levi announced our joint project, the WebRTC Index. In case you were wondering what it is about and what are your options there, read this for answers.
What is the WebRTC Index all about?
The WebRTC ecosystem is growing rapidly with different types of vendors, tools and services. This makes it hard for people to keep-up with changes, something that becomes critical when looking for a solution that answers a specific need. In such a case you need to first know what are your options to choose from and then deep-dive into them in order to make your selection.
To that end, we have decided to launch a public WebRTC Index.
Our goal is that the WebRTC Index will cover most if not all WebRTC related companies. Listing your company is free; all you need to do is fill in the information in this Google form.
What information will be included for each company?
The basic free option will include information such as logo, company URL, description and various categories such as solution type, media types supported and more.
Categories and Solution Types are important because visitors to the site can search for information based on them.
More extensive information will be provided about Gold and Silver companies allowing for additional links, categories, solution types and product information. Additionally, sponsoring companies will be displayed on the website as featured companies. The table below lists the benefits of each listing level.
