I’m now at MPLS+SDN+NFVWorld in Paris, the holy grail of the technologies around these acronyms. My part in the conference is around SD-WAN and more specifically, around SD-WAN and security.

Being at this conference is a great opportunity to announce SDnet Index.

What is the SDnet Index all about?

SD-WAN is a general term describing products and services that attempt to improve network performance utilizing unmanaged broadband and sometimes, combining managed connections with it (aka MPLS). As time goes by and the term SD-WAN becoming a hot buzzword, more and more vendors and service providers adopt it to their marketing material each offering different functionality.

Having 40+ vendors in this space and an even larger list of service providers offering SD-WAN services, enterprises have a hard time selecting the vendor or service provider of choice.

The goal of SDnet Index is to ease the process of building a short list of vendors or services as a starting point before delving into each one of them in details. This is done by offering a listing of companies in the field of SD-WAN and SDN, coupled with search capabilities specifically built around the technical terms of these technologies.

What information can I submit on my company’s page?

The information included on each company page is a combination of unstructured text, description and search tags and structured data fields such as categories, solution types, deployment configuration and more.

Companies deciding to opt for a paid sponsored listing will be able to include more information and be present on the home page.
